Trail of Fears
about us
Trail of Fears started back in october of 2006 as Kuhlwein's Haunted Forest. It began as a low budget haunt and just a fun thing to do in october, and we've worked to build from that since then. It became the Trail of Fears in the summer of 2008 as we started the transition from small time operation to hopefully what will become a much bigger venue. In 2009 we were fortunate enough to be introduced to our current creative designer and head of makeup department Scott Sliger. Scott does all of our prosthetic work as well as most of our props. A link to his site is on here under partners and affiliates. Scott has worked on several major projects, such as celebrity deathmatch, the jon stewart show (not the daily show, think back several years) and the Monsters of the Gridiron commercials from coca-cola/nfl to name a few. With his help, we've made a lot of changes and improvements and we will be improving every year, and hopefully expanding in the near future. In 2010 We enlisted the help of a good friend, Rob Sparkman, who is currently going to school for graphic design. Rob has worked at several outdoor advertising firms designing, fabricating, and installing several 3-D objects for advertising. He has also designed shirts for a bmx company, flyers for bars and events, and a menu for a bar as well. Rob does all of our graphic work at Trail of Fears, including all of our website graphics, our flyers, our stickers, and our tickets.

Because it will never be the same exact haunt two years in a row, be sure and check us out to see what is new or has changed. We are located next to Kuhlwein's Farm at 1859 Walker Road Hilliard, Ohio 43026. When the season approaches we will always have signs nearby and a lit parking lot so you shouldn't have much trouble finding it after you get off the freeway. Also be sure and check us out on myspace and facebook:

We will be offering a concession stand again this year to provide food and beverages for our customers, and we will also be selling merchandise on location at the haunt. Currently there are stickers and lighters (limited availability) as well as T-shirts and props for sale at the barn at Kuhlwein's Farm where tickets are purchased, and they will be there throughout the season so feel free to stop by and pick one up. Kuhlwein's farm market is located in the barn where you buy tickets, and they usually still have a few veggies and jams, etc for sale in october so be sure and check that out too while you're here. During the daytime starting around June 1st Kuhlwein's Farm Market sells fresh farm produce and starting around October 1st they will be offering pick your own pumpkin hayrides as well as a corn maze and straw maze for younger kids.
